History And Vision

Our
Vision
Our Story starts with my Grandfather, Charlie Tolbert who started American Aircraft Sales in 1968, and my dad Charles Tolbert who retired from the US Army in 1986, and joined the family business. My dad later went on to work with other aircraft sales companies. They both led successful careers in the aircraft sales business.

At the age of fifteen, I had a strong interest in flying and ordered the working "The Wood Hopper" plans from Popular Mechanics. Shortly after that, I flew Cessna 152s from Daniel Field, Augusta, Ga. However, the Army called. In the army, I earned a top-secret clearance, worked on satellite communications systems, and was awarded an expeditionary medal. While in college, I combined my love of aviation and computers and created one of the first Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems for aircraft sales.
Today, I see a world of independent aircraft brokers and dealers that will come together as one global force to better serve the aviation business, owners and pilots!
